AFS Chile entrega becas para profesores

Nueve profesores de distintas partes de Chile vivirán una experiencia intercultural a través de la Beca Educadores con Causa 2019 entregada por nuestra organización.

Este programa se origina en 2013 con el objetivo de fortalecer y fomentar la vinculación entre AFS y las instituciones educativas de países que conforman la Región Caribe de AFS: Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, México, Panamá, República Dominicana y Venezuela.

En 2018, los países pertenecientes a la Alianza Latinoamericana de Educación Intercultural (ALEI), Argentina & Uruguay, Brasil, Chile y Paraguay, se sumaron al proyecto y abrieron convocatoria para que educadores de sus países vivieran un programa de intercambio en el extranjero.

La beca permitirá que los educadores conozcan los distintos contextos educacionales y culturales que hay en países de América Latina. Durante dos semanas asistirán a un colegios donde impartirán clases relacionadas a su cultura y aprenderán metodologías que podrán aplicar en Chile.

A través de esta beca, AFS Chile refuerza el compromiso que tiene con entregar más oportunidades de aprendizaje intercultural para fomentar la ciudadanía global en los establecimientos educacionales.

Además, ocho profesores de países de América Latina llegarán a Chile a vivir la misma experiencia en establecimientos educacionales de Chillán, Rengo, Los Álamos, Puerto Natales, San Fernando, San Antonio, Los Ángeles y Copiapó.
