AFS participa en el Lollapalooza Chile

El 29, 30 y 31 de marzo,  AFS Chile estuvo presente por primera vez en el Lolla Cares, un espacio del festival de música Lollapalooza Chile 2019 que buscaba conectar a los asistentes al evento con organizaciones sin fines de lucro que promueven causas sociales de diferente índole.

AFS participó con un stand que tenía como objetivo sensibilizar sobre el aprendizaje cultural. A los asistentes al stand se les contaba sobre el trabajo que hace la organización para crear ciudadanos globales activos promoviendo los intercambios. Luego se les invitaba a familiarizarse con la interculturalidad a través de la presentación de objetos y una muestra gastronómica de dulces de distintas partes del mundo.

Los asistentes también podían participar de un concurso y ganar descuentos para viajar con alguno de nuestros Programas 18+. Además, el stand se volvió un punto de encuentro entre estudiantes de intercambio, voluntarios, voluntarias y ex participantes que asistían para apoyar el trabajo de la organización y reunirse con más miembros de la comunidad AFS .

Este espacio de visibilización logró que AFS estuviera durante los tres días de festival a la disposición de los más de 80 mil asistentes al evento, siendo la única organización que promovía los intercambios como una herramienta para apoyar la paz mundial e impulsar el entendimiento cultural.
