Jóvenes embajadores norteamericanos viven experiencia intercultural en Castro

Con el patrocinio del Gobierno de Estados Unidos y la organización de AFS Chile, Fundación dedicada a los intercambios estudiantiles en Chile hace sesenta años, es que desde el 8 de junio se encuentran en nuestra ciudad una delegación de estudiantes norteamericanos por el programa “Youth Ambassadors”.

Este es un programa de jóvenes embajadores oriundos de variados sectores de Estados Unidos, que visitan Chile para vivir una experiencia multicultural, viviendo con familias anfitrionas, con el fin de interactuar con la comunidad y la experiencia educacional de los estudiantes chilenos.

Esta gran experiencia multicultural se reflejará en proyectos comunitarios que realizará cada uno de los estudiantes norteamericanos al regresar a su país. Al mismo tiempo que los alumnos del Colegio Cahuala, establecimiento elegido para vivir el programa, han podido interactuar y aprender de los embajadores durante su anual “English week”.
